[show_avatar email=jess@iwenttoashow.com align=left avatar_size=62] By now, you’ve probably heard of the Secret Sound Society, and their mission to provide St. Louis with new and innovative musical content in the form of “…shows, events, videos, podcasts, mixtapes, protests, luncheons, [and even] dance parties.” The identity of members of the group remains somewhat…secretive, but the event they’re providing us this weekend certainly is not.

While Secret Sound Festival seeks to emphasize Cherokee Street businesses/venues, the perennial favorite Off Broadway, and of course, the finest in up-and-coming and established local bands, there’s more fun to be had than just the shows. Come down anywhere from noon to 9PM on Saturday, and enjoy Halloween stage decor provided by Dave Langley, “live pumpkin art,” and free posters provided by Firecracker Press, not to mention various discounts and specials from Cherokee vendors during the Saturday Festival time period.

The curators of the Secret Sound Festival have been kind enough to provide us with two pairs of tickets for the Saturday session, and all you have to do to be entered to win is leave a message at the end of this post OR comment on our FB page OR retweet the concert announcement on Twitter.
