The Fortnightly: March 14 to March 27
March 14, 2011
A couple of us are excited about road tripping slightly West this weekend to see St. Louisans Beth Bombara and The Dive Poets play a new spot in Columbia, MO called The Bridge. The show features CoMo band The Stingrays, and the concert will serve as the venue’s grand opening celebration. Bombara and The Dive Poets are set to combine forces this summer and tour the South, which should be a natural fit for the alt-country leaning DPs and thanks to Beth’s blues rock sensibilities. To promote the upcoming tour, they recently shot a music video for the song “Longtime Gal”.
