KDHX’s Twangfest Turns 15 – Win Yourself a Ticket
May 26, 2011
2011 marks the 15th year of Twangfest and this is one you cannot miss! This year will see many local faves on the bill, including Cassie Morgan and the Lonely Pine, Kentucky Knife Fight, and Cumberland Gap. In addition to the aforementioned local heroes, I’m really looking forward to Chatham County Line.
So who are you excited to see? Let us know and maybe you’ll be the lucky dog who gets to go for FREE. Damn right! We’re giving away a pass to the whole thing, courtesy of our pals over at KDHX. So go ahead, leave us a comment here, send us a tweet, or leave us a note over the Facebook page. We’ll start someone’s weekend off with a YEEEEHAW by picking the winner on Friday!
When you’re done talking back at us, go check out the stylish new Twangfest website. IWTAS’s own Annie McCance made it with her own two hands!

I’ve had a few brushes with greatness. Was Johnny Cash’s busboy once. Waited on the mean little girl form Little House on the Prairie and once got a Hayes Carll poster autographed by the bouncer at the Bottleneck in Lawrence KS. Looking forward to my next moment in the sun at Twangfest.
I am most jazzed to see The Baseball Project. Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey warm this R.E.M. fangirl’s heart. Even if they are singing about baseball.
Can’t wait to see Elizabeth Cook!
i wanna go!
