[BIG] Giveaway: Win Tickets to See Eagles of Death Metal Under the Arch!!!

I do enjoy a whiskey every now and again. So when IWTAS received an email pitch from Jack Daniels, naturally I shirked my anti-commercialism, free-range organic hipster caricature that I occasionally (okay, rarely if ever) occupy and was all like, “YEP, I’ll buy what you’re sellin’, JD.” Turns out the nice lady repping ol’ Jack wasn’t so much selling something as she was giving us a bunch of stuff to turn around and give away to y’all for $FREE. And that, my friends, is a whiskey-related offer you can’t refuse.

The wild and fun crazies in Eagles of Death Metal are playing a Jack-sponsored, invitation only concert “in the shadow of the Gateway Arch” this Saturday with doors at 7:00pm. It should be a pretty sweet night for anyone who is a fan of EODM, large metal structures, or being outside listening to music for free under a major American landmark. [And if you don’t like one or all of those things…what are you? A robot?]

So, we have many pairs of tickets to give away to the show!!! Here’s what you do to win:

1. Leave a comment below with why you’d like to see Eagles of Death Metal at the Arch by TOMORROW AT 1:00PM. (This is a 24 hour contest, because I’m average, not good or great, at time management.)

2. Include a valid email address when prompted. 

3. I’ll choose 10 winners (TEN!), and notify them by email tomorrow afternoon (that’s May 15th). You’ll then provide me a mailing address, and you’ll have your tickets on Thursday or Friday, like magic. 

Oh, and you have to be 21 to win. The rules are the rules. Get to it and good luck!

    I would love to see EODM play under the Arch because I want to see Jesse Hughes’ moustache up-close. Have you seen that thing? It’s beautiful.

    I deserve to see this show because The Eagles Of Death Metal are one of the best bands that I have ever seen live. Their last show that I saw was at Mississippie Nights and on that night the cardinals won the World Series. I make very shitty money working my ass off and if you let me go to the show….just maybe….The cards will win the World Series again. Oh please gods and goddesses of opportunity, let me see the show. My boss even allowed me to take the night off if I win.

    Why do I want to see Eagles of Death Metal under the Arch? Because I like to move in the night, and I’m pretty sure this show will be solid gold. I think the band might have some secret plans, too, and I know their shows are always high voltage.

    Now, I’m a fool for some good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll. I’d drop stacks of money to see them play this weekend. Then again, I’d probably tell you anything ‘cept the truth to win these tickets – it’s just so easy.

    I want these tickets so hard.

    Get me into EODM because they kick total sonic butt and my friends’ local band, Speedboats, is opening for them! I will rock it hard under the Arch for some serious tunes. I might even take my shirt off!!!

    I am about 30 minutes late posting on here but I want to see Eagles of Death Metal because they are my favorite band and I am driving 4 hours to this show and don’t have tickets yet.

    I know I’m late, but like you, I’m not great at time management. I deserve to get a pair of these tickets because I work my ass off, and I want to see a kick ass band live downtown this weekend and drink a little whiskey while doing so. Heard these guys get it done live.

    Also, it seems you only have 8 comments, so hopefully you need some extra people to give these away to..
