Just in time for your last minute gift wrapping sessions, our buddies in Other People have gifted upon us “The Greatest Christmas of All”, a brand new original tune created right here in St. Louis. Band member Bob McMahon wrote to us about the track:
“Just like all your holiday shopping, ‘The Greatest Christmas of All’ comes together at the last minute to save the day. It’s a tongue-in-cheek tale of a man with the poor fortune to be born on December 25th. Don’t let the sleigh bells, pretty harmonies, and classic chord progressions fool you…the narrator does not feel this is the most wonderful time of the year. Other People disagrees with him, however, and in celebration of Christmas, we present this song as our gift to you.”
And I’d be remiss not to mention that on Saturday, January 7th, Other People releases its new CD at Off Broadway with the excellent support of Dinofight! and Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship. The show is free thanks to 4 Hands and the venue. Cheers and congrats, OP! We hope to see you all there.
