Experiencing a live performance by an artist as prolific as Beck in a venue as gorgeous and storied as the Fox — that’s one nice way to wrap up a weekend. Next Sunday, September 16, the five-time Grammy winner takes the Fabulous Fox Theatre stage with support from Julian Casablancas’ The Voidz.

Maybe you’re an early adopter from the Mellow Gold or Odelay days. Or perhaps you came aboard because of a little record called Morning Phase four years back. Regardless of when you hopped on the Beck train, it’s tough to deny Mr. Hansen’s prowess as a singular performer who has, for decades, seamlessly woven futuristic and throwback sounds into imaginative original work.

Now, Beck returns to St. Louis behind his 2017 release, Colors, a fun, unabashedly poppy album.
