Contest: Win tickets (and more!) to Those Darlins at Off Broadway on 11/15!

To me, Those Darlins and St. Louis go together like…New Belgium Missouri and Off Broadway.

On November 15th, all four of these things that I love converge, when the Darlins take the stage at Off Broadway in St. Louis, with sponsorship and social lubrication provided by New Belgium. The band is returning to St. Louis with a brand new song on 7″ called “Summer’s Dead”, a wonderfully haunting little number that you can read more about here.

Awesome as they *always* are, this won’t be your average Those Darlins show in STL. You’ll find the 15th chock full of bonuses. Check it:

— Two Certifiably Kick Ass Supporting Acts: Nashville punk rockers Heavy Cream will be rolling into town with the Darlins, and Kentucky Knife Fight was recently added to the bill. This is a twang-thrash-punk-rock dreamscape of a line up. Be on time.

— New Belgium Pre-game on the Patio: From 6-8:30p, New Belgium is hosting a pre-show party of sorts on the Off Broadway “Smokin’ Porch”. This is your chance to get in plenty early to win a good spot and, hey, maybe get a good buzz on before the first note is played. Since the pre-party is during dinner time, OB and NB have arranged…

— …A Visit from Hot Aztec Food Truck: Lay a base for a great night with some tasty Mexican street food. The truck will be out back during the Patio Pre-game, and I’m guessing, during the show for a bit.

IWTAS wants to send one of our readers to this concert, and we want to throw in a copy of Summer’s Dead. To enter to win a pair of tickets to the show and the new Those Darlins 7″, tell us why you wanna go in the comments section below. Contest ends at noon on Monday, November 12th. Get some.

RSVP to the show here.

I wanna go because I love Those Darlins (and Heavy Cream!). I am newer to St Louis and one of the many things I love about this city is how often there is fantastic live music to experience in an awesome setting like Off Broadway!
