#STLSOTD: Thursday, June 5th – Last to Show First to Go’s “Subtle Blend”

#STLSOTD is an I Went to a Show.com Monday-Friday feature that introduces followers to St. Louis music by spotlighting one track by one artist or band from IWTAS’ Bandcamp Directory of St. Louis Music.  As always, we welcome your suggestions. If we pick the song you share with us on TwitterFacebook, or in the comments section of this post, we’ll make sure to give you a shout out.

Last to Show First to Go, led by Bredon Jones, is one the most consistently delightful live bands in town. Buttressed by socially conscious songwriting and a proficient band lineup, LTSFTG’s dynamic, accessible brand of folk rock is warm enough to feel familiar and smart enough to keep your full attention.

Today’s St. Louis Song of the Day is “Subtle Blend”, off LTSFTG’s 2013 EP, Everything’s Fine, America.

Last to Show First to Go is Bredon Jones, Mikey Naucas, Miriam Keller, Phil Valko, and Ryan Albritton. They play this Saturday at 4pm at Atomic Cowboy’s outdoor stage as part of the 2014 RFT Music Showcase. The band is nominated in the Folk — Americana category.
